I was working from the idea that tobacco companies want people to overlook all the unhealthy consequences of smoking and think that they will look cool if they smoke. Also, just for the record, it is an instant turn off for me when a girl smokes. I hate the smell of it, and after being around heavy smokers for several hours, I feel like I'm dying, so I try to stay away from it as much as possible.
